My Neighbourhood Watch

Each day for a week I visited the same spot

12 times a day.
I attempted to visit the same spot

12 times a day.
I may have slipped up 1 or 2 times.

I watched as the Chichester park (Litten Gardens) transformed hour by hour.

I watched Litten Gardens perform in many different ways and learnt a lot about my neighbours.

This project mostly looks at how place and space changes over time.

This project comes in a book form.

Do You Want To Get Married?

.

I went into Southampton City Centre and performed weddings under the Bargate.

I married friends.
I married strangers.
I married the same person to many different people.
There were same sex marriages.
There were opposite sex marriages.
It was a day of celebrating love and binding people even if they did not know one another.

The Human Form...

The nude body within classical paintings is portrayed as perfect.

‘The Human Form…’ however, explores and addresses the perceived ‘ugly’ body by highlighting these

so-called ‘imperfections’ that are non-existent in classical paintings through the lens of the camera.

This project explores the nude body, the creases, folds, fat, spots, scars, blemishes, freckles, and all the other parts of the body that are perceived as ugly, leading the audience to question why these body parts are perceived as ugly or not.
